ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Odbor AMNuBiH je donio odluku o raspisivanju konkursa za prijem novih clanova AMNuBiH
Potencijalni kandidati se mogu elektronski prijaviti zakljucno do 24,00 sati 15. marta 2019. godine, ukoliko ispunjavaju uvjete iz clana 10 Statuta, i to:

a) da je kandidat doktor jedne od biomedicinskih nauka/znanosti;
b) da je kandidat istaknuti naucnik s priznatim rezultatima u nekoj od naucnih oblasti u zemlji i inozemstvu;
c) da kandidat ima akademsko zvanje, najmanje u rangu vanrednog profesora univerziteta;
d) da kandidat ima najmanje deset (10) publiciranih radova u indeksnim casopisima kao prvi autor;

Obavezni podaci u elektronskoj prijavi:

* Ime i prezime kandidata

* Mjesto i datum rodjenja kandidata

* Diplomirao/la na fakultetu, mjesto i datum diplomiranja

* Polozen specijalisticki ispit, mjesto i datum polaganja

* Zadnji izbor u akademsko zvanje, koji predmet i na kom fakultetu

* Lista publiciranih radova u svojstvu prvog autora u indeksiranim bazama podataka: WoS, Pubmed, Pubmed Central, Scopus, itd.

* ORCID ID (otvoriti na www.orcid.org) i Scopus ID

Kandidati trebaju priloziti skenirana pisma preporuke dva akademika AMNuBiH (recommendation letters), pismo o prihvatanju clanstva u AMNuBiH u skladu sa Statutom (Confirmation letter) i znacajne certifikate vezane za naucni doprinos u zemlji i inozemstvu.

Odluka o imenovanju novih clanova AMNuBiH bit ce javno objavljena na web stranici www.amn.ba nakon sto Nominacioni odbor (Nomination Committee) pregleda prijave i dostavi Odboru prijedlog za prijem novih kandidata, a Odbor AMNuBiH prihvati i predlozi Skupstini njegovo usvajanje, najdalje u roku od 45 dana od zatvaranja konkursa.

Imenovani akademici duzni su odrzati pristupno predavanje iz svoje naucne oblasti u terminu koji odredi Odbor AMNuBiH.

Dostavljam vam PDFs glasackih listica pristiglih tokom elektronskog glasanja za clanove Odbora AMNuBiH za period 2019-2022.

Od ukupnog broja clanova AMNuBiH s pravom glasanja (24) glasalo je 17. Nisu glasali:
Enver Zerem, Zlata Kundurovic, Mehmed Gribajcevic, Marko Buksa, Zoran Hadziahmetovic, Jacob Bergsland, Benjamin Djulbegovic.

Izet Masic je dobio 16 glasova za funkciju Predsjednika.
Osman Sinanovic (7 glasova) i Vjekoslav Gerc (5 glasova) su predlozeni za Podpredsjednike.
Halima Resic je predlozena za Sekretara (4 glasa).

Za clanove Nadzornog odbora predlozeni su akademici: Sukrija Zvizdic (5 glasova), Enver Zerem (4 glasa) i Snjezana Milicevic (4 glasa).
Za clanove Etickog komiteta predlozeni su akademici:
Asim Kurjak (6 glasova), Abdulah Kucukalic (5 glasova) i Marko Buksa (4 glasa).

Uzi Odbor koji cine: Izet Masic, Osman Sinanovic, Vjekoslav Gerc i Halima Resic su obavili konsultacije medjusobno i prihvatili se obavljanja funkcija na koje su predlozeni.

Molim clanove Nadzornog odbora i Etickog komiteta da, takodjer, mejlom daju saglasnost.
Pozeljno je da svaki glasac potpise svoj listic, skenira i dostavi ga u Arhivu, kao sto smo to uradili Halima i ja.

Takodjer smo dogovorili da do 15. februara 2019. godine otvorimo javni konkurs za prijem 10 novih clanova AMNuBiH za naredni 4-godisnji period.

Uvjeti za prijem novih clanova su navedeni u Statutu Akademije:

* kandidat mora biti u zvanju, najmanje, vanrednog profesora univerziteta,
* kandidat mora da ima najmanje 10 radova na Pubmed-u kao prvi autor,
* kandidat mora imati preporuke dva sadasnja akademika.
* kandidat treba odrzati pristupno predavanje iz uze oblasti interesiranja, nakon sto Komisija od 3 clana objelodani moguce kandidate.

On December 8th of the year 2018 in Sarajevo held meeting “Days of AMNu BiH”–Days of Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and The Second Mediterranean Seminar on Science Writing, Editing and Publishing (SWEP–2018). Venue of the both meetings were at hotel Holiday in Sarajevo.

Tokom održavanja skupa "Dani AMNuBiH 2018" i "SWEP 2018" dana 8. decembra dogovorili smo da izbor članova Odbora AMNuBiH za period 2019-2022. godina obavimo elektronskim putem. Glasački listić se nalazi na linku ispod.

Poštovane kolegice i kolege,

U decembru 2016. godine održan je naučni skup o temi “First Mediterranean Seminar on Science Writing, Editing and Publishing” (SWEP 2016), organiziran u sklopu proslave “Dani AMNuBiH 2016”, a pod pokroviteljstvom Akademije medicinskih nauka Bosne i Hercegovine.

Na ovom naučnom skupu učestvovalo je s prigodnim referatima ukupno 15 urednika biomedicnskih časopisa iz zemalja Jugoistočne Evrope. Jedan od važnih dokumenata usvojenih tokom završne ceremonije naučnog skupa rezultirao je usvajanjem “Sarajevo Declaration on Integrity and Visibility of Scholarly Publications”, koja je publicirana u časopisu “Croatian Medical Journal” - http://www.cmj.hr/2016/57/6/28051276.htm.

Nekoliko radova prezentiranih tokom održavanja naučnog skupa in extenso, te svi abstrakti radova sa skupa, publicirani su u indeksiranom časopisu Akademije medicinskih nauka BiH i oficijelnom časopisu Evropske Federacije Medicinske Informatike - “Acta Informatica Medica” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5203755/

Zaključak tada održanog skupa bio je da se on održava svake druge godine. Organizacijski odbor je odlučio da se “SWEP 2018” ove godine održi 8. decembra u Sarajevu.

Ovim pismom, pozivam Vas da svojim prisustvom i aktivnim učešćem, uveličate SWEP 2018.

Molio bih Vas da nas obavijestite tokom ove sedmice o Vašem učešću prezentacijom prigodnog predavanja o temi po slobodnom izboru, a odnosi se na oblast naučnog publiciranja.

Predlažem da ovogodišnji “SWEP 2018” tematski posvetimo etičkim dilemama u naučnom publiciranju, što je bila preporuka COPE-a, koji je ove godine o toj temi organizirao nekoliko prigodnih seminara, s obzirom na sve učestlije pojave plagijarizma i neetičnog ponašanja u naučnom publiciranju.

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 2nd to 3rd December 2016, was host of one of the most exciting meetings in Mediterranean area, The First Mediterranean Seminar on Science Writing, Editing & Publishing (SWEP 2016). It was organized by Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina, running concurrent sessions as part of its Annual Meeting titled “Days of Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Theory and Practice in Science Communication and Scientometrics”.

On the first day, twenty speakers from Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Slovakia and the UK (Asim Kurjak, Milivoj Boranić, Doncho Donev, Osman Sinanović, Miro Jakovljević, Enver Zerem, Dejan Milošević, Silva Dobrić, Martin Rusnak, Srećko Gajović, Izet Mašić, Armen Yuri Gasparyan, Šekib Sokolović, Nermin Salkić, Selma Uzunović, Admir Kurtčehajić, Edin Begić and Floreta Kurti) had a range of presentations about scientific and publishing integrity, principles of scientific communication and unethical behavior in science and publishing, as well as strategic approaches and directions to prevent, detect and manage fraud and misconduct in scientific publishing. Some of speakers are also editors of journals like Medical Archives, Croatian Medical Journal, Vojnosanitetski Pregled, Psychiatria Danubina, Acta Informatica Medica, Materia Socio-Medica, The Donald School Journal of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Acta Medica Saliniana, Macedonian Journal of Medical Sciences and Medicinski Glasnik. Armen Yuri Gasparyan (UK) on the second day of Seminar, had presentation regarding international bodies and associations contributing to the advancement of scientific and publishing integrity by creating principles of scientific communication and guidelines for authors, reviewers and journal editors for ethical behavior in preparing manuscripts, review process and publishing,  disclosures of conflicts of interests, prevention of fabrication and falsification of data and plagiarism of ideas, text and results, research performance and productivity and impact indicators, and targeting ethical journals and scientometrics.

Invited lecturers and keynote speakers were awarded certificates for lecturing and contribution to advancement of scientific publishing and some of them for lifetime achievement in journal editing. Organizers of the SWEP 2016 declared necessity and commitment to organize such kind of seminars each 1-2 years with support of Balkan and Mediterranean editors and publishers. The SWEP 2016 was followed with constitutional meeting for establishment of the Mediterranean Association of Science Editors and Publishers (MASEP). Editors of journals and founding members of MASEP during the meeting adopted “The Sarajevo Declaration on Integrity of Science Communication”.

It is expected that this kind of event will become a tradition in the Balkan and Mediterranean region, and that it will represent a traditional gathering where the journal editors and scientific community would exchange their experiences, and try to make a step forward, to cope with the trends and needs of the journals with the highest rating in the world.

The First Mediterranean Seminar on Science Writing, Editing & Publishing (SWEP 2016) was held in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina from 2nd to 3rd December 2016. It was organized by Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina, running concurrent sessions as part of its Annual Meeting titled “Days of AMNuBiH - Theory and Practice in Science Communication and Scientometrics”. Hotel Bosnia in the city centre was the chosen venue. On the first day, nineteen presentations on various issues of science writing and publication ethics were delivered by speakers from Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina and the UK (Asim Kurjak, Milivoj Boranić, Doncho Donev, Osman Sinanović, Miro Jakovljević, Enver Zerem, Dejan Milošević, Silva Dobrić, Srećko Gajović, Izet Mašić, Armen Yuri Gasparyan, Šekib Sokolović, Nermin Salkić, Selma Uzunović, Admir Kurtčehajić, Edin Begić and Floreta Kurti). Each presentation had a take-home message for novice and seasoned authors, encountering numerous problems in non-Anglophone research environment. Lecturers, who were internationally recognized editors of regional journals, generously shared their experience of adhering to the best ethical guidance. Elegant presentations by Srećko Gajović (Editor-in-Chief of the Croatian Medical Journal) and Armen Yuri Gasparyan (past Chief Editor of the European Science Editing) showcased their accomplishments that strengthened ties between authors from all over the world. Gasparyan reflected on educational resources of editorial associations, such as the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and called not just to declare the adherence to, but also to enforce their ethical guidance in daily practice.

Editors of Medical Archives, Croatian Medica Journal, Vojnosanitetski Pregled, Psychiatria Danubina, Acta Informatica Medica, Materia Socio-Medica, The Donald School Journal of Ultrasound in Obstretics and Gynecology, Acta Medica Saliniana and Medicinski Glasnik presented their editorial strategies aimed at attracting best authors and resolving problems with authorship, conflicts of interest, and plagiarism. Topical education on science writing and editing was considered as an inseparable part of continuing professional development in biomedicine.

Armen Yuri Gasparyan (UK) was offered an opportunity to interact with more than 70 participants, attending the SWEP 2016 on the second day. The lecturer talked about author contributions, disclosures of conflicts of interests, plagiarism of ideas and words, research performance and impact indicators, and targeting ethical journals. Topics were presented in a way to help non-Anglophone authors, reviewers and editors avoid common ethical problems. Dr Gasparyan stressed the importance of regularly arranging such meetings across Balkan and Mediterranean countries to eradicate plagiarism and other forms research misconduct.

The organizers of the SWEP 2016 awarded selected keynote speakers with certificates of lifetime achievement in journal editing, and decided to run the Seminar annually with support of Balkan and Mediterranean editors and publishers. The SWEP 2016 marked a turning point in the process of regional developments since all attending editors opted for nurturing enthusiasm of the organizers and launching the Mediterranean Association of Science Editors and Publishers (MASEP).

The Seminar was a great success with its impressive scientific and social activities. It attracted more than 100 students, researchers, editors, and publishers from Bosnia & Herzegovina and neighbouring countries. Proceedings, in the form of short reports, were published in Acta Informatica Medica and archived in PubMed Central. New friendships were forged between regional experts in editing and young specialists during those unforgettable two days of intensive discussions and informal interactions.

Dana 17.12.2013. uži odbor Akademije – Mirko Grujić (podpredsjednik AMNuBiH), Vjekoslav Gerc (predsjednik Izborne komisije za izbor novih članova), Marko Buksa (predsjednik Etičkog komiteta) i Izet Mašić (predsjednik AMNuBiH) održao sastanak u prostorijama Akademije (Sarajevo, Mis Irbina 11, Tel./fax.: +387 33 226 866) i pregledao pristigle prijedloge kandidata za Glavni odbor AMNuBiH za period od 2014. do 2017. godine.

Na osnovu Vaših prijedloga novi Odbor čine:

Prvi sastanak novog Glavnog odbora održat će se u prvoj polovici januara kad cemo pripremiti nove Dane AMNuBiH i prijem novih članova.

Na sastanku smo razmatrali i prijedloge za nove članove AMNuBiH. Članovima novoizabranog Glavnog odbora želim uspješan rad a svima vama Sretnu i uspješnu nastupajuću 2014. godinu.
